Database course discusses relational database systems, using ER Diagrams as a data modeling tool, the properties and roles of transactions, the use of SQL for defining and manipulating data, as well as the use of APIs for database access. In this course, students will also gain knowledge about the impact of design on the use of indexes, views, sequences, joins, and triggers. With this course, students are expected to be able to create proper database designs and apply them in software development.
